Types of Anti Static Bags

• Dissipative Antistatic bags –They are made of standard polyethylene with static dissipative layer or coating on the plastic. It is helpful to avoid buildup of static charge on the bag. It dissipates static charge to the ground or other surface it is kept on. But it cannot resist electrostatic discharge.
• Conductive Antistatic bags –These bags are made with a conductive metal layer, usually aluminum as well as dielectric layer of plastic, which is covered in static coating. It forms non-conductive barrier and a shield to protect the contents via Faraday cage effect.
